Step 3. Setting Up Your Affiliate Website
A.) Your Domain
The first thing you will need (if you haven't one already) is your own personal web site. There are many places that sell domain names but the company that I bought from is GoDaddy.com, the world's # 1 registrar, and one of the least expensive on the market.
B.) Your Affiliate Website Host
The next thing you need is a company to host your new domain. You can stay with GoDaddy or you can purchase the services of another company that will provide you with more tools to set up and maintain your website. C.) HTML Editor or Website Building Software
The last thing you will need is some way to create your web pages and upload them to your web site. There are dozens of programs out there, but the easiest tool I found to use was Virtual Mechanic's SiteSpinner. It has a great list of pre-made templates to choose from and VERY good instructions on how to use the program. You can use it 30 times (or days) for FREE before you have to pay for it to see if you like the program and if it meets your needs.

When a webpage or your website is finished, it should be optimized so that search engines can find it when a potential visitor makes an inquiry. There are several articles on this subject in the MENU on the right side of this page. There is also a FREE program you can download at: www.WebCeo.com that can do most of the optimization for you.
